Silas has two new tricks: sucking his thumb and getting stuck on his belly at 4AM. He sucked his thumb in utero (as we witnessed on several ultrasounds), and when he was newborn, but he quit for a few months. Now he has rediscovered his left thumb and he sucks on it a lot. His thumb is always red and his fingers are in his eyes. We had this 'rolling over, getting stuck' issue with Ezra around this age, the difference was Ezra was capable of rolling in both directions: Silas is not. This too shall pass, and I'll only remember it because it'll be on here :)
Ezra and I are in full tilt potty training for the bazillionth time. It's an ongoing process and eventually it'll be worth it. This morning after he finished his Oreo cookie treat for pooping on the toilet, my little boy who does not like to be dirty announced, "Mommy I have cookie fingers and a cream face!" Funny guy.
A couple of phrases that Ezra can't seem to get enough of saying are, "Yes, you sure can!", "Ohhh- Okay!" and ""Oh I see, I see." Hmm...who does he sound like there?
