Today we had a check up for both boys. Our doctor wants to plot Ezra's growth because he is small, just to have a record of it so that in a few years if he's still as small (comparatively), there is at least proof that he was always a wee little one. He's growing at the identical rate he was at his last check-up in January. He weighed 26.5lbs today and was 36inches tall.
Silas seems gigantic, both in comparison to Ezra as a four month old, and looking at him now. Silas looks almost the same size! However, today at the doctor, Silas measured in at only the 30th percentile for length and 15th for weight! Weird. He was 13.2lbs, 24.5inches and his head was 16inches (which is also 15th percentile). I guess he just feels huge because he is so much bigger than he was when he was born. He also got his shots today and cried and cried and cried. He cried harder than either of my children and any other immunization. But, it's better to get the shot than to get the disease it prevents. Also, I ate a single piece of pizza last week and Silas didn't poop for eight days. He seemed just fine otherwise, but poor little tummy. It's at least a good reminder to say "NO!" to cheese!
