Spelling
In our house, Rob and I have started to spell certain words. I never thought I would need to spell words because I didn't want my ONE year old to know what I was saying. I thought maybe a TWO or THREE year old, but never did I think ONE. But, it has begun, and now will only last so long. The more we spell our words, the faster Ezra will learn to spell them. But, it is easier to spell s-h-o-e-s, or c-a-r, or o-u-t-s-i-d-e, than to deal with a 16 month old who LOVES to put on shoes and go in the car, or outside. If I am talking about my "shoes", he will go get his shoes, try to put them on and then have a little tantrum if I don't take him somewhere. So instead, I choose not to say the words that cause confusion in my little boy's life.
