Ezra is officially 9 months old today. Here are some things he likes to do- the Ezra daily dozen:
1. Climbing stairs. I'm not sure how he figured this one out, as he had no prior practice at climbing (the only steps we have are the ones to get in the house), but he is a pro.
2. Take risks with walking. My little Tyke is taking steps on furniture with only one hand holding on.
3. Squatting. He just learned he can stoop down to get something without sitting down.
4. Pulling books off the shelf. And daintily to boot.
5. Ripping up old magazines. Look out Sears Catalog, here he comes!
6. Eating dirt. And rocks. Every time we go play outside, he goes straight for the flower bed.
7. Taking Tylenol. He LOVES Tylenol.
8. Saying "Dad". He also says "Hi" and "Byebye". Byebye sounds more like bubba though.
9. Waving hi and bye. Mostly only to me and Rob though. He get's shy. He will do it but it takes some convincing.
10. Giving a Hi five. Same as waving.
11. Cuddling with me. He is a MUCH more cuddly boy than he was even a few weeks ago. Which is so nice for his mama.
12. Feeding himself. He LOVES food. He hasn't eaten baby food for about a month now, and it is so nice to have him eating from the table. I mean, we still spoon feed him things he can't pick up but it's pasta instead of pureed peas. Some favourite foods are: Ritz crackers, grapes, whole milk, babybel cheese, beans, raisins, banana and of course, toast. Actually, the only thing he doesn't like so far is oatmeal.

try carter's signature oatmeal: oatmeal with applesauce and bananas cut up in it, or with applesauce and raisins. works like a charm :) i can't believe he's climbing stairs and squatting and doing all that stuff already! crazy :)
That's so funny Karina, I tried applesauce and raisins! He liked it better but still didn't eat very much. I even put a little cinnamon in it. He loves bananas though so I'll give that a try.
