Some friends of ours renewed their very recent vows in a formal wedding ceremony (they didn't have a big one the first time) on June 1. In their family they had a few little girls to choose from to be flower girls but no little boys- the bride was sad about this until her husband suggested our wee ones. They asked us and we gave our "children are unpredictable" disclaimer but agreed to the task.
The bride bought the boys the outfits she wanted them to wear and they sure looked sharp. We did a lot of practicing at home and then we did more and more practicing at the rehearsal. I wasn't sure Silas would do it because he wasn't always compliant when I wanted him to be (story of my life) but when the time came they both shone like the little stars they are!
Rob took a video of the boys walking down the aisle but for some reason we can't get it to load onto YouTube. So, you'll have to survive with photos- sorry! That's why the post is so late- I was trying to make the video work for a while!
