Pregnancy Update

At my last prenatal appointment I learned that not only am I gaining appropriate weight for the first pregnancy ever, my belly is also measuring right on what is "normal". I have no new information regarding when my cesarean will be but hope to hear from them soon.

Baby is active but seems to be quieter than the other two. There are long periods of quiet throughout the day. I am quite fatigued and have some low belly pain but otherwise am physically doing well.

Silas in particular seems excited about the baby. He thinks if he speaks into my belly button the baby will hear him. Its funny. He wants to make a heart cake for the baby when the baby comes out. Silas also notices my belly more than Ezra because he sits on my lap more often; he will push on my belly and say, "Move baby! No space!". There was also a funny conversation where Silas asked what they baby was doing inside my tummy and wondered if the baby had books to read! Silly boy. Now he jokes about books inside mommy's tummy like it's the funniest thing in the world.

Ezra is excited too but he doesn't usually initiate baby conversation, unless he's asking a question. He is convinced we are having a girl and the most common name suggestion he gave was "Miracle". He told me he is most excited about being able to read to the baby once it's born. The questions he has are mostly about what our life will change to: where baby will sit in the car or at the table, where we will keep the baby toys (and when will the baby play with them), etc.

This is our 25 week photo, from last week.
