Rob and our wonderful friends Alan and Larisa threw a huge birthday party for me at the beginning about six weeks ago (I know, I'm terrible), and I've been lame and not posted about it yet. So here it goes!
We had a formal night with about 20 guests. Some people from our church graciously agreed to have us use their home as our venue and it was perfect. We had sophisticated h'or d'oeuvres, wine and a delectable chocolate mousse cake (with raspberries!). We had a fun game called, "How Much Do You Know About Kim?' with 25 multiple choice questions regarding things of my past, or preferences. The winner of the game doesn't read very good English so he guessed at EVERY question- and he won by three!! Incredible. We also had someone teach us how to waltz, then we danced to a beautiful duet of violin and cello. We had a photo booth with some fun props and those are the pictures below!
By far, the best birthday party that could have been!
