Silas had an appointment with the allergist to confirm or deny the suspected peanut allergy. I am pleased to report that he had no histamine response whatsoever to any of the tested foods. The Doctor suggested that because Silas has sensitive skin, the peanut oil has, in the past, caused a skin rash but this is not an allergy. His skin will desensitize to the oil and he will no longer have any issues with the rash. Praise The Lord!
Silas has many new words and he is learning several new ones each day. He is also much more willing to try a word when requested to do so than before. Some fun new ones are: baby, baLL, please, milk, one more, belt, book, boot.
Silas has also been ill this week. At first I thought it was just teeth but then his fever got worse and he vomited all over himself in the car. Also he has been sleeping a lot in the day and not great at night. Poor guy. Hopefully this sickness is almost done...
