2nd and 4th Birthday Party

Yesterday we had a birthday party of astronomic proportions.

It was solar system themed and we had a BLAST!!!

For Ezra and Silas I baked raspberry filled chocolate cupcakes that were decorated to look like planets and stars and other orbital items. I also baked a chocolate raspberry cheesecake (both of these desserts were per Ezra's request).

I designed a "Pin the Rocket on the Moon" game that was jet fueled, and weightlessly fun, partially because Ezra won. Silas wouldn't play- he was lightyears away from the idea of being blindfolded.

The take home treat, in lieu of a goody bag, the children received a jetpack of cosmic importance.

Our boys were commissioned with many wonderful gifts from many wonderful people. They had many talented astronauts join them in celebrating their day: a total of 15 guests were in our atmosphere yesterday to bring their well wishes to our sons.
Two marvelous families came to partake in cake and games in the afternoon and
we had dinner for ten with Ezra and Silas's grow up friends, who also happen to be some of Earth's best babysitters.
