Pageant
This weekend our church had a "Family Christmas Party". I was on the committee and I helped with writing the script, organizing the meal (for 160 people), and coordinating after dinner activities (cookie decorating, crafts, games and tree trimming). Oh, I was also in charge of making sure there was food for the Friday night rehearsal. Many people helped pull the night off and it was a lot of work, but it was SO WORTH IT. My dear husband was Sound Man Extraordinaire (as always) and the boys were an Angel (Ezra) and Toddler Jesus (Silas). Ezra even had a line! He did great but wants to wear his costume again on real Christmas :). Silas did great too- he didn't have me or Rob to help him and he did perfect. I taped coins to the floor with yellow electrical tape to keep him occupied and that seemed to work wonders. During the practice, I had to distract him with my iPhone in order to get him to sit still so we came up with a better plan for the real deal. Here is a video of portions of the performance- I only taped when the boys were doing something :).

Many apologies for the video quality: there was a kid sitting behind me who kept kicking my chair.
