Silas is one today. My, how the year has flown! He is such an asset to our family. Silas is very charming, silly and calm. He is not walking, still scooting, and he is learning so fast. On this day last year we walked to the hospital because I wasn't in labour and we had no car. My baby's doctor was an hour late for the scheduled surgery, and he was so small he spent 3 hours in the incubator to get warm. Three days later we took a taxi the two blocks home and officially welcomed him into our family. And I can't imagine our lives before/without him. He is a joy! We love you Silas!
