Jesus's Birthday Cake

I wrote down a conversation I had with Ezra today. He thinks he`s being thoughtful...but really it`s all about him.

Ezra: I want to make a nice big cake for Jesus for his birthday.
Me: Oh yeah? We can do that! What kind of cake would you like to make?
E: Blueberry. For me.
M: Well what about for Jesus. Isn't the cake for Him?
E: Yeah, yeah, yeah. And for me.
M: What do you want the cake to look like?
E: A blueberry. It's a blueberry cake. (I could see the "Duh Mom" written all over his face). Then he said: I think I would like two cakes for Jesus.
Me: Two? What's the other one?
E: Strawberry
M: But you can't have fresh strawberries.
E: Can Jesus have fresh strawberries?
Me: Um. Yes.
E: Can he have chocolate?
M: Um. Yes.
E. Then I want chocolate. No, I want a chocolate cake for MY birthday.
Me: Yeah I thought so. But Ezra you don't like cake. You only like the icing.
Ezra: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Me: Maybe I should make you a birthday pie!
Ezra: Ohhhhhhhhh...Or a cheesecake!
