Silas the Escape Artist

This afternoon when I went to get Silas out of the crib from his nap he was in the corner closest to the door. He had somehow managed to get his left arm over the edge of the rail and he was hugging it with his armpit. His right leg was groping the air and he was standing on his left-foot toes- all the while wailing. The crib is at the lowest setting and he nearly escaped. What am I going to do with this little monkey? My mother had to put me on a mattress on the floor by nine months old because I kept escaping my crib and I somehow managed to never get injured. I am not so sure he won't tumble to the hard wood floors but I feel that moving him out of the crib is premature. I guess we will see what time brings.
