Here's what life is like at our house:
Sleep-
Ezra is sleeping great! 7:30 to 7 most days, and when he gets up too early I just tell him, "Ezra it's not morning time yet, go back to bed." And he does! Hooray!
Silas is sleeping amazing! He goes down around 7 and sleeps until 5, with a sleep feed at 10! He goes back to sleep at 5 for another few hours-usually until 7:30 or so. At least that's our latest trend...I know from experience that you just get them figured out and they switch things up on you!
Naps-
Ezra naps from noon until 2 consistently. It's glorious.
Silas naps inconsistently, and he occasionally still needs to be rocked to get there, but most often, I wrap him up, and leave him alone with eyes open and he sleeps for about 1 1/2 hours. He's also awake for about 1 1/2 hours before needing another nap.
Food-
Ezra, as always, has an insatiable hunger for all things food. He loves everything.
Silas certainly has an allergy to dairy. His gas has much improved as has his overall fussiness. We also accidentally reintroduced cow's milk proteins to him in the form of formula almost 2 weeks ago, and noticed marked changes in BM's, gas, odor, sleep and crying in the days that followed. So, great for him, not so great for me- no dairy until he's weaned. He went from fussy and not sleeping to almost narcoleptic!
Playing-
Ezra's finally learning to jump! He can get both feet off the ground about half of the time.
Silas is cooing and starting to giggle. He smiles a LOT. Maybe it's because his tummy feels better!
Diapers-
Ezra has been asking to go on the toilet! And he's doing it! He doesn't always ask, and he's not always successful when he does, but it's coming and it's him-initiated. Excellent.
Silas: I should mention that we are using disposable diapers for Silas. We have shared laundry in our building, and there is significant inconvenience and higher cost related to that. So disposable it is for now.
That is all I can think of for now- I'll update again another day!
