Silas is two months old today and he is doing so good! He weighed 11 lbs exactly at the doctor today, and measured 23 inches long. He is smiling a LOT and is awake a lot too! This is a fun stage. Ezra keeps asking me, "How's Silas doin' Mommy?". Pretty cute! Ezra also wants to hold him and read to him and play with him all the time which I love. Silas may have a cow's milk protein allergy however, which could be why he's so painfully (for him) gassy and why it's so smelly. I have to boycott dairy for two weeks to see if it helps his poor tummy. The good news is, if it is a milk allergy, he will more than likely grow out of it soon! Maybe even in just a few months. I love milk! Oh well- it is for his benefit and it is a small sacrifice to make if he feels better!
On a side note, my 6 week postpartum check-up got postponed to April 5 by the OB- so I have no news on my placental pathology yet but hopefully I will then!
