Introducing Silas Patrick

Silas was born at 8:26AM on January 25, 2011. He weighed 5lbs, 11oz and is 19 and 3/4 inches long. We had a very routine scheduled cesarean delivery and we are both recovering well. My placenta did look "funky" and was quite small so it was sent for testing. We will only hear results if the placenta does come back abnormal, and those results will take about 6 weeks to come back. The OBGYN said she was glad we went with the C-section delivery, even if the placenta checks out to be ok. Makes me feel reassured also. He is an excellent eater and also very quiet so far. Ezra LOVES his brother- he think he has a cute nose. He was sharing toys with Silas earlier today and wanted to read him stories.
