Ezra has gotten quite the abstract thoughts going lately. He sees a picture of a lady with red hair and says, "Mommy!"- then giggles. Same thing only "Daddy" for a man with dark hair- especially if he also has a beard. He also does this with ladies and grey hair (Gramma), boys with brown hair, (Ezra) and boys with blonde hair (Seth, his cousin).
This morning Ezra was pretending to be sleeping on the couch. I was sitting there, talking with Rob and I hear this, "Honk sheeewww" coming from beside me and so I look over, and there is Ezra, giggling in all his glory because he made me look over at him.
Ezra noticed today that there are boats on the licence plates. He points to every car and says, "Car! BOAT!".
We were in a grocery store the other day, and after the checkout, Ezra looks around the room and starts waving and saying, "byebye". He looked as though he was thinking he was the most important little boy in the world, and he appeared to be quite dejected when no one said Goodbye to him in return.
Yesterday we rode the bus to and from church- Ezra was very excited about it and even though he just about fell asleep on both trips, his eyes were as big as could be.
We put up our family pictures today, Well, all of our art as well, but Ezra is only interested in his alphabet board, his Noah's ark (both because of the animals, of course), and the family photos. He could look at them and point to everyone all day. He gets mad when our arms are tired, or we get board of "Uncle?", "Daddy!", "Gramma.", "Ezra!". He misses you guys!
