I really have to take some more pictures, but for now as soon as Ezra sees the camera, he wants to sit with whomever is holding it, and look at the display screen. Also, with all that's on our plates these days, I'll be honest, taking photos doesn't even approach making the "To-Do" list. I thought I would share some funny things that Ezra is up to:
- Imitating. Everything. Words, actions, everything.
- When I say (or Rob), "It's time for a diaper change." Ezra goes to his change mat and lays down.
- If either of us say, "Are you ready for bed?" he waves and goes to his crib.
- He whines and cries if we don't take him outside. And if I am bringing him inside from say, a car ride, he struggles to get down and then wails when we get in the house because he wants to, "Go".
- Saying so many words. Done, down, wawa (water), bou (book), bir (bird), baaa (ball) and kitty are some new ones.
- "What does a kitty say Ezra?" "KITTY"
- Being shy. He used to play strange a little, but now he's more aware of what is normal, and less okay with what isn't.
- Propelling himself on his ride 'em train. New skill.
- Wanting to blow his nose. I blow my nose, he wants to blow his. Really he just wipes his face.
- Wiping his face after supper- he uses his bib! I don't know where he learned that one.
- Blowing kisses. He just learned this one today! He puts both hands over his mouth and makes a kiss noise. He just needs to get the "send the kiss to mommy" part.
- "What time is it Ezra?" He looks at his wrist. I'm dead serious.
- Dancing. He dances like "Lord of the Dance". Everywhere. And anytime.
There you have it. In a nut shell- he's cute as can be!
