Ezra helps Mommy make supper

Before Ezra was able to sit on his own, I used to bring the exer-saucer, his rocking chair or just lay him on the ground where I went so he could be a part of it. Well, not always, but sometimes- usually just when I had stuff to do but he would cry when I wasn't with him. I would tell him, "Life goes on Ezra- Mommy still has to make dinner." Now that he sits, I just plunk him wherever and he stays there. It's a good stage. Sometimes he flops himself onto his tummy and then may or may not roll around for a while- it depends on his mood, his interest level in what I'm doing, and the distance between him and whatever he wants to put in his mouth. And sometimes, he just sits and tells me stories. Here is an example.

I am enjoying the pre-crawling stage quite a lot. Although, Ezra and I will both be very happy when he can get to that just out of reach, very tasty looking object all on his own.
